The Charitable Foundation of Rare Diseases and Disorders, Inc.
P.O. Box 1111
Marion, Indiana 46952
Dear Donor:
The Charitable Foundation of Rare Diseases and Disorders is a new venture into charitable giving to those in need of small cash grants, gas gift cards, assistance for utilities and much more for the individuals we are chartered to serve.
We have a mission of serving the needs of families at risk due to medical issues beyond their control. You and others can help us by providing funds in the form of a grant or by donating goods and services.
One current endeavor is to provide aid to struggling families identified on the website http://www.aidpage.comand individuals referred to the charity through Facebook. A receipt will be provided along with our Federal Identification through the IRS as a legitimate charity. Checks and other donations may be mailed to our address provided above.
In addition to the aforementioned donations, grants in kind, and other services, we are in need of a website to be created. This costs money which takes away from our power of providing need to others. We respectfully request a special donation to assist us in purchasing the site.

I am deeply saddened and disheartened for your situation. I do however; believe God has a purpose unknown to us at this time why this has happened. You know that God is watching over your children and I will pray that God will send his Angels and messengers of love to your children. I pray the Holy Spirit will be surrounding and placing a barrier of protection which will be poured out from Heaven to keep you and your children safe from harm.
I have no doubt that God's will is going to be bestowed upon you as long as you keep your heart open to His whispers of love and grace.
I will pray that the children's father will become rational and realize the needs of his children and their need to be reunited with their mother.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
Please take this verse and own it. Rest your cares upon Jesus and He will deliver you from the turmoil and burden you have for your children. I will pray this with you every night and open my heart to what Christ would have me do to help you. As you go to bed tonight, realize that we have agreed to pray for this situation.
When two or more are gathered in His name, He will bless that faithful Covent. Believe this that If God is for us, who can stand against us. No one can, and that is the absolute promise from Jesus.

I have opened my heart to God. He opened a door and allowed me to receive His grace, His love, and His desire to bless each of us. Through this I came to realize I must rid myself of bitterness. Jesus has carried me so many times that I can't count them.
The problem was I wasn't paying attention. I just sat in my own despair and wept day after day. One day as I was setting out on our back porch looking at the Rose garden I planted for my parents, I realized that what I just accomplished for mom and dad is what Jesus was trying to tell and show me all along.
When we plant seeds, they will grow with nurturing and love. I finally realized my life must be in His hands and my heart must be open to his calling and the burdens he places on my heart.
You and your family happens to be one of those burdens that Jesus wanted me to have and to share what I could whether it is a dollar, $50, or $100 plus.
Now I pray that Jesus will guide me through my giving so that I can be a blessing to others in need. Right at this moment my prayer has been given over to the Holy Spirit to deliver to God to place in my heart how to help you and your family. I know God will answer me.
It’s a beautiful relationship between me and Jesus. My eyes are opening more and more as each day passes.
I hope this helps you understand my motives and my desire to help.
God Bless and in His love, I Pray for His Protection over you and your family.
Through Christ,
Jerry
Isn't it awesome that Christ died so that we may live in His Glory and Grace

What I do is place those I feel I can best help in small ways on my list. It's currently at five families. I may be able to help you as well. I cannot promise at this stage until I receive my Pension and Disability Payment. Please provide me with an idea of a gift for your children or if gift cards would suit you if I am able to do so. I prefer gift cards.
I would need your address posted to me one-to-one and a promise from you that you will join me in prayer that Jesus will guide both of us in this situtaion. I am placing my trust in Christ to provide me with additional resources to help individuals and families such as yours and mine. I lay my complete faith in Jesus. I believe he will open the door so that I may be able to assist you.
in response to Single mother of four...Send me your information and details of childrens ages and genders and I will place them on my list to try and provide something. Please understand that my funds are limited until we get the charity off of the ground and in full swing. I will be more than happy to at least try.

in response to Aiden Is Loved...Too often as adults we become too prideful. I was most guilty of this. I needed to go through life's trials to get to where I am at in my life. Our children are most precious gifts from God and as such He has blessed you. There is nothing wrong for asking for help. We all have issues in our daily lives that want to weigh us down, however, if we give the issues to Jesus, He will find a way, and carry you out of the darkness. I pray that Jesus will bless you and your family. I ask Jesus to send His Angels and have them wrap themselves around you and your family and give you protection, peace of mind, and fulfill the needs you have in your life. If we give up and lose our faith we will ultimately struggle more and more. Jesus promised us that he would not give us more than we can bear. I believe this wholeheartedly.
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, For ever and ever.
Amen.
Please send me details if you so desire. Read my posts and you can gain some helpful information. You may use one-to-one
in response to peaceful2011...Write a letter to your city council, mayor, congressman about the details of the fire and why the landlord is making you pay. I do not believe that he is within his rights. You may also want to write the landlord's insurance company and let them know that you are paying rent on a home that caught on fire, I'm quite certain that his insurance company would be less understanding of his position on double dipping. One last thing, find a legal aid attorney in your area and ask for assistance in recovering paid rent from the date that you were forced to move. The landlord is not within his rights as far as laws in Indiana would enforce.

in response to mommabear03...I will do my best to make a few dreams come true. Hold on to your faith, Jesus has laid the foundation of grace so that we can choose our paths. My path has led me to help others whether financially, prayer, or both. It took me several years to learn that bitterness will cause us to fail. We must look to Christ in our times of need and He will provide through us the means to help each other if we will only believe in His Love and Grace.
Also, contact your union who administrates your long-term disability. Many policies have to pay for life if the individual becomes totally disabled.
As for my long term disability from teaching, I will receive a small check each month until I reach age 65. The long-term company often keeps this quiet. You may have to do some research. If there is anything else I can do, please don't hesitate.

If you would, what are the ages and gender of your children?
What is your husband's disability? Has he applied for Social Security Disability? www.ssa.gov if he hasn't he can file right online and depending what his disability is will determine if you can receive additional help. You can also apply for SSI for your children to receive additional funds. I hope this helps. Please post your specific needs so that I can see if there is anything I can do for you.

in response to carolmom65...Great, I will also be placing her on my list if and when she contacts me with her needs and wishes. I can only help a few people each month until the charity starts receiving donations. I am currently looking for a web site creator to place the Charity online with its own website.

Be watching for a new charity which will be called "The Charitable Foundation of Rare Diseases and Disorders."
Our mission will be to help individuals and families with small monetary gifts to assit in paying bills, buying groceries, etc. The gifts will normally be in the form of a gift card.
If anyone wants to learn more or contribute to the charity, let me know.
Additionally, if you would like to become a Supporter or Friend of the charity, drop me a one-on-one note or public post. It's entirely up to you.
in response to chickchat30...Would you happen to know how I could send presents to children and family, or possible a gift card? As much as I need help, I'm willing to do more because my heart aches when I read some of these posts. I do hope you and your family will be blessed on Christmas Day.
I believe that those who help others will also be blessed. I believe we are all in financial distress, but, that should not stop us from sharing a little of what we have as individuals.
As far as donating, I would much prefer to send a gift card if that is possible.
